MonsterCoats: Crazy Cool New Kids’ Trend - Jessica McFadden is A Parent in America – One Funny Mother Blogger

My daughter Eve is a very stylish girl, and she also has a hilarious sense of humor. The perfect way for her to show her nutty personality with style is a MonsterCoat. We received one for review and she is OBSESSED with it!

MonsterCoats are furry, fuzzy, show-stoppers of warm jackets for kids size 4 – 10. They are 100 percent handmade in America and include details such as real horn toggles and a zippered internal pocket. They are machine washable, score!

Speaking of kids’ fashions, be sure to enter my Carter’s $50 Gift Card Giveaway for the chance to win some spring clothes for your kiddos!

Eve loves her snuggly coat and receiving lots of positive attention from her friends at school, sports and activities. Her principal, teammates at swim practice, the youth safety patrols and the most stylish big girls in our neighborhood have all gone ga-ga over the MonsterCoat.  I see Eve’s smile widen and confidence grow every time she wears it.

As a mom, I love how the MonsterCoats embrace fun and creativity for kids.  I also love how I can always find Eve in a crowd when she is wearing hers! In fact, the makers of the MonsterCoats are parents who wanted to easily locate their children on ski slopes filled with hordes of ubiquitous, identical parkas.

The coats have come down in price to $75-$100 (they retailed for $200 earlier this year!) Check out the available color styles.

The hats, featuring the same distinctive monster/muppet fur, also make a cool statement for kids. They retail for just $29.

We received one MonsterCoat for review, but are considering buying another for Alice. She wants one like her big sister!
