#DisneyKids Preschool Playdate - Jessica McFadden is A Parent in America – One Funny Mother Blogger

Life is crazy.

It feels like every minute is scheduled.

From the first bus in the morning until the last swim practice carpool at night, each day with my three children is a full-on sprint.

Which is why when my kids and I do have time to host a good old-fashioned playdate for our friends, we like to make it special.  We do not go birthday party overboard, but we take the time to plan ahead. A cool theme, activities and snacks makes the time we have guest kids here flow and feel especially enjoyable.

Usually three-year-old Alice is tagging along on her big sister and brother’s playdates, but this time it was all about her and the preschool set. We were excited to host a #DisneyKids Sofia the First playdate for a gaggle of girl friends.

Alice and I made a video together as we planned the party, helped by our fab #DisneyKids Disney Side @Home party kit and our specialty Sofia the First party plan.

Party set up was easy as princess pie. I bought cupcakes, cookies, and sparkling juice, chopped some fruit, and placed all on pretty servers so the girls would catch a fancy vibe.

I stuck some Sofia stickers on gift bags I already had and stuffed them with goodies the good Disney people provided.

We pulled out all of our princess-worthy dress-up costumes. And hung them on the staircase for easy costume changes.

We set up Disney games on the dining room table and a nail bar of pink and purple polishes on the kids’ craft table. I queued up a couple episodes of Sofia the First on the DVR for the girls to watch while their manis dried.

I picked up the girls from school and then three hours of fun FLEW BY! A little planning made for a whole lot of happy.

My family and I received a #DisneyKids party pack and I was compensated to produce a pre-party video. No additional compensation received for this post.
