HP’s XL ink cartridges save us up to 40 percent on printing, and HP printer cartridges are now available at Walmart for even more savings. And if you buy an HP XL cartridge now, you will receive a $10 gift card, too!
I have an HP Officejet Wireless All-in-One printer that is going on four years of daily printing, making it both the Methuselah and Ryan Seacrest of printers. Thus, I’m a huge fan of HP and HP’s XL ink cartridges, which fit in your HP printer like a regular cartridge but hold more ink.
I was excited to learn that I can now pick them up in-store and online at Walmart, and also excited when I was offered the chance to perform an HP/Walmart shopping haul. The folks of Walmart and HP sent me a $75 gift card and the direction to pick up an HP XL that fit my own printer as well as however many other items I could find with the balance. What fun!
I decided to do some shopping for the kids, both Christmas shopping and a couple everyday items. I thought about trying to do the extreme coupon thing, but I have no idea how as only save the more-than-$1 diaper and DSW coupons. (I know, not knowing how to coupon is almost un-American. Does a subscription to Gilt count towards patriotism?) However, I still was able to bring home a ton of great items since everything at Walmart is so freaking cheap marked down.
Here’s what I picked up:
- $34.97 (+ $10 Gift Card Instant Rebate!) HP XL Printer Cartridge
- $19.97 Disney & Fisher Price Little People Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs
- $5 Disney Fairies Tink Tech Phone
- $1 in clearance bin Dolphin (I Can Read Book 3)
- $1 in clearance bin Disney Phineas and Ferb Agent P Note Pad
- $.98 in clearance bin Disney Phineas and Ferb 110 Stickers Sticker Roll
- $.50 in clearance bin Foldable Storage Cube (single)
- On sale for $8.97 + I had a $1.50 off coupon Huggies Little Movers Diapers Jumbo Pack Size 4 27ct.
- On sale for $3.98 Snyder’s of Hanover Halloween Pretzel Snack Sack
Grand total:
$74.87
+ $10 gift card
$64.87 (excluding 6% local sales tax)
I know this is not rocket science, but I felt pretty excited that I got so close to the $75 limit, doing this shop with Alice in tow. It’s the little things people.
And speaking of Little People, I got pretty excited about Fisher-Price’s new Disney Princess line. It’s available at Walmart for 40 percent off the prices on Amazon, and listed the same as the prices on the Fisher-Price Little People website but without shipping when you buy them in-store! You can watch me get all fired up about toys and HP and shopping at Walmart in the video.
Enough of me, now it’s your turn.
To win a $20 Walmart gift card, usable either in-store or online, leave a comment sharing what you will be printing with HP XL ink.
The winner will be drawn in one week on Friday October 12, 2012 at midnight. U.S. residents only, please.
Disclosure: I received a $75 Walmart gift card for this promotional program with MomSelect. No further compensation was received. All opinions expressed are my own.

If I win, I would use my ink for my new thirty one business. I need to print stuff for hostess folders.
Thanks
